Concert Against Corruption - A Day To Remember

December 29th 06, was a day to be remembered by many of us young Bangladeshis.

A unique day when more then 30,000 young Bangladeshi took Oath to stand against Corruption.

Transparency International deserves all the credit of arranging the whole event highlighting the slogan “Durjoy Tarunno Durniti Rukhebeyee”.

A live Concert coupling of country's top and popular bands, Solo Artists, Bauls and other prominent media personals participated or were present to make this historical event a mega success.

Shermin lucky and Adittya Kabir as MC of the Event, Dr Iftekher-u-zzamen inaugurated the opening of the event at 2pm in Gulshan Youth Club Ground.

Among those who are helping to organize this concert are Channel-I, Radio Foorti, Radio Today, Prothom Alo, Daily Star, Bangla Vision, SAS, Onirbaan.com Ltd. and others, including field level anti-corruption organizations. Among the musicians the concert will feature Azam Khan, Miles, Renaissance, Feedback, Souls, LRB, Fahmida Nabi, Mehrin, Hyder Hussein, Sahed, Warfaze, Aurthohin, Dalchhut, Artcell, Shironamheen, Meghdol, Face2Face, Shahjahan Munshi, Rab Fakir, Aklima Baul and a Gambhira troupe. Professor Muzaffer Ahmad, Sultana Kamal, Abdullah Abu Sayed, Muhammad Jafar Iqbal and others will be present to declare solidarity.
