Ekushey Book Fair ‘07

Month long book fair finished today (28th Feb.) on the Bangla academy premises which was began from the February 1st. The book fair saw the arrival of more then two thousand new books on various subjects till the last day, according to the fair information center. Million visitors visited the fair during the month. According to the distributors, sales volume also hit the record number on ‘Ekushey’ book fair ‘07. As a part of the ‘Ekushey’ program Bangla academy held many discussions, meetings and seminars on several current issues and crisis. Cultural function also held in the every evening during the fair.
